Ok so 1/ who the hell is Robert Cowan and 2/ why the hell should I care?
After playing in a couple of pretty good but completely unsuccessful bands, the usual splits for the usual reasons occurred. (musical differences, who's amp is too loud, who stands at the front of the photo's, the usual rock n roll shit). Anyway, I digress. So after a while I decided to do my own thing and bought some gear to write and record at home.
So, have I come up with some completely new and original style of music? Well, in an era where eating your own bodily waste products in synch to 120DB of feedback isn't new then.......probably not. We're all influenced by something and everything (with me Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, REM, the Stones, the Doors,......... Sinatra,....... Joy Division, the list is endless). It is varied. It is good.
